What You’ll Do

As a Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for building robust, scalable solutions using the Microsoft stack and open-source technologies. You’ll also have the opportunity to cross-train into Quantexa, one of the world’s leading platforms for contextual decision intelligence.


You will:


- Build and maintain scalable data architectures and back-end systems using Azure, Fabric, Synapse, and Data Lake

- Develop data pipelines, APIs, and models to support advanced analytics and regulatory reporting

- Design and deploy dashboards and analytics using Power BI

- Work with Scala, Spark, Hadoop, and Elasticsearch to manage and transform large data volumes

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines in a cloud-native environment

- Collaborate in Agile project teams with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Solution Architects

- Get hands-on training and project experience with Quantexa, including entity resolution, graph analytics, and network modeling


âś… Requirements

Must-have:


- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or analytics

- Solid experience with big data frameworks (e.g. Spark, Hadoop, Elastic Stack)

- Strong programming skills in Scala, Python, or Java

- Familiarity with Azure, Data Lake, Fabric, or Power BI Experience in Agile delivery environments

- Knowledge of SQL and Python

- Strong problem-solving mindset and excellent communication skill

- Willingness to learn and work with the Quantexa platform


Nice-to-have:

- Background in financial crime, ESG, or financial services

- Knowledge of CI/CD, Microsoft DevOps, or cloud-native deployment

- Consulting or client-facing experience


🎓 Education & Background

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field

- 3+ years of hands-on experience delivering data-focused projects, preferably in a consultancy, financial institution, or regulated environment
