We are growing our Data Engineering team. Based in our offices in Amsterdam,  we are looking for talented high performing individuals to join our rapidly growing data team as data engineers to train and work on the Quantexa platform, focused on industry challenges such as AML, KYC, screening, regulatory compliance and fraud.  We are a fast-paced and fun team, with a unique balance of big-firm experience and startup culture. Our consultants develop skills and experiences in high growth, cutting-edge technology consulting practice with unparalleled access to some of the world's leading FinTechs and Financial Services firms.

All of our work is within Financial Services, across many of the world’s leading Banks, Capital Market Firms, Wealth Management and Insurance firms. The role is open to those who have more than 3 years’ experience, in Financial Services and working with Quantexa.


What we’re looking for

Quantexa certified engineers (data engineering as a minimum), talented high performing individuals to join our rapidly growing data team as data engineers to train and work on our leading data analytics entity and network resolution solution, focused on industry challenges such as AML, KYC, screening, regulatory compliance and fraud. 


You will have

  • A degree specialised in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science or similar
  • 3+ years working with Quantexa within Financial Services
  • Coding experience Python, Scala or similar technologies highly desired
  • Coding experience Java or any OO programming language is a plus
  • Knowledge on how to model, manipulate, transform data and draw conclusions from it
  • An enthusiasm to learn emerging and open source technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, Scala, Elasticsearch
  • Strong analytical thinking
  • Strong problem-solving skills ability to debug and solve technical challenges
  • Strong technical communication and presentation skills and ability to carry out documentation in English
  • The ability to work independently or part of a team
  • EU residency / permission to work. Preference will be given to candidates already in the Netherlands. with an EU passport and/or an EU residence permit (Netherlands)
